    Spring is here! I found this bug on my grapevine leaf, i have no clue what kind of bug this is. I got as close as i could with my 70-300mm. All C&C welcome.

    Kyle, welcome to Macro / Flora! I do like the image - you've got a strong composition here. I think you probably could have kicked the Av to 8 or 11 and more of the flower would have been in focus. Also, if you had taken a step or two to the side you would have included a bit more of the insect's face and I think that would have made the image even stronger.

    Only drawback I see would be to clone out the dark branch at the bottom of the stem.

    Welcome to macro.flora, I agree with Jules advice, a little more depth of field, and finding that position to see the head from the front.
