Long Billed Dowitcher

Could be the short one, I never can tell...

Anyway, we have a flock of them currently in one of the Palo Alto ponds. Patiently waited for them to come close enough when the sun disappeared behind the only cloud in the sky :-(
Flash saved the day even if it's not quite the warm glow I was hoping for. I do like the colors though so decided to share.

I like the angle, water colors and eye contact and would sharpen the bird more. It's a bit hard to ID the bird with the bill in the water. :)

The water color is beautiful and I like the low angle.
