    Taken on my recent trip to the Everglades, Florida.
    D300
    200-400VR @ 310
    f/4
    1/4000s
    ISO200
    SB900 + BB -1.7EV
    30% crop

    Like the drops of water, the sharpness and the detail in the plumage. The rock in the bg is too distracting though IMHO. Getting lower might have helped, possibly with a horizontal shot. Most importantly it seems you shot that around mid day as the light is very harsh.

    Good critique by JLuc, which I agree with 100%. That rock is just too much, but I do like the comp with the drops occupying the empty space below.

    I realized this also, but I'd have a hard time cloning it out with the water drops evident.

    If you had taken a step to the right (or two) perhaps the rock could have been eliminated. :)
