    Hahaha, you caught that mean look in his eye. Nice golden light. The eye could use some care, to define the pupil. Great detail in the blacks. Congrats!

    I like the light, pose, and the separation from the BG. Would've preferred a more natural perch without the cutoff branches. Maybe a cloning project for one of those hot summer days :)

    Excellent exposure on the blacks, and I like the inquisitive pose. Is he missing a claw on his left foot?

    I like the pose and BG and might change the midtones to a slightly darker point. If this was a setup I would have preferred a perch that doesn't have branches with clear cuts.
