The Lake Eerie northern shoreline was alive with warblers last weekend. All the fortunate folks got to be in Pelee, the rest had to make do elsewhere :p. The BG probably needs some cleaning but the pose seemed good.

Nice pose, and a beautiful specimen you found here. The BG does not bother me as much as the extremely tight crop. Next time try to give it a bit more space all around. Also the lack of a catchlight is bothersome, though it shouldn't be hard to add one in PS.

    Keep them coming.

I added catchlight and pulled the crop back. Definitely need to practice my PS :)

I like the repost, with more space around the bird. Also, the catchlight adds life to the image. Could you briefly explain the process you used to add the catchlight? I've tried it without good success. Thanks.

Repost looks better. Nice colors and detail on this. As mentioned, catchlight adds some life.

    Roger,

Sure, I expanded another image from that set that showed a catch light to about 800% and then used the rectangular selection tool to select and then copy the whiter pixels.

I then edited my good image and again zoomed in to 800%. I selected the area I wanted to place the pixels an simply pasted them in (I actually did it twice for a fuller look).
