    Default Pintail (hen)

So here is the second to last of the Duck "hen" series I'll be posting. Then we'll move onto the colorful fella's.
Thanks for looking and following along. :)

Angle, pose and light are great. I might crop a bit off the bottom and sharpen the bird more.

    Mike:

Lovely colors, watercolor goes along beautifully with your girl. I enjoy being able to see the long tail feathers.

I do agree with Axel re: a small crop off the bottom. For me, just a light pass of USM on the head should do it.

Please, don't hesitate to show more of the females. As I have moved along in my appreciation of birds, I often find the subtle colors of the females at least as attractive as those old show offs.

    Cheers

    Randy

Mike, once again your low angle makes this for me. Soft light and colours, and the comp works well too. Great capture. Looking forward to the colourful fella's.
