I'm testing my new ringflash and it's been a while since I've used one.
My old had only TTL,and the newer cameras has only P-TTL ore similar
    system.
This is a small fly (ap.8mm)and belongs to the Sciomyzidae-family.
    The scale is 2:1.

Thomas, I'd say you got the hang of it. Beautiful image...great clarity and composition. I love all the intricate details! I would suggest cleaning up the 2-3 small white spots on his body if you feel that's something the image warrants. Otherwise...I love it!

    Thanks,Julie.
The white spots are pollengrains.I like to leave some natural defects in my pictures,
    but thanks for the tip.

Hey Thomas, great details, and nice BG, I would also clone out the white spots. Very well done.

Nice details on the fly with excellent bokeh. Nice and optimum use of flash - looks very natural.

I'm glad flies are the size they are! A nice peak into the world they live in. Very detailed. The eye draws me right in. O no!
