As you say, perhaps a bit tight in the frame but not overwhelmingly so. Good exposure and sharpness. Not the best wing position (straight up or down always best). I would probably do a little bit of cleaning on the bill. Overall a good image :-)

Comp, detail, shadows, color and a killer sky - One great capture! I like the tightness when there is only sky. Bob

Very nice flight shot Chris. very sharp and nice exposure. I agree with Bob's comment - Adding canvas to show more blue sky BG won't really add much.

I dont mind the tight feeling to this Chris. Wings could be better but head angle good with catchlight.
    Well done.

I think your comp is fine Chris, infact I would still take a bit off the top. Well exposed, and love the detail from the far wing. Good job on the eye too.

I like the detail, sharpness, light, colors and exposure, regarding the wing position, it is not the ideal IMO, but it doesn't look bad, Congratulations!

I think comp is fine as is the wing position. Would've preferred the head angle be toward you the same amount but I also like the fact the he looks like he's looking at something while flying rather than just straight ahead.

Very well exposed Chris. Ilike the feather detail on the body and the red eye realy pops. As he is flying up, I would prefer a bit more space above and a bit less below. (Or even just a bit off the bottom for a apno crop)

    Nice shot.

I would agree that a slight reduction in the top might add to this image. Otherwise I would print it as is! ;)
