    I was walking on top of a bank and caught this GBH on takeoff.

    Sharp and well exposed. Generally it is preferable to have the bird coming towards you.

    That's a wonderful shot Filamena, the Graceful title is very fitting.

    One little thing that is a bit uncomfortable to my eye it the tall stalk just in front of the beak. Cloning it out down to just below the sparkle in the water might open up the space for the bird to fly into.
