    Strikin the pose.

Taken from the bird blind at the Audubon Canton, MA Educational Center.

With a borrowed 600mm on my XT. (I'm still drooling 7 months later.)

Wild bird, but posted in Hand of Man because of the peanut butter and seed lure in the nooks in the back of this interchangable perch in front of the bird blind.

Not my usual thing, I prefer to get the blood flowing, and hunt and gather in nature for photographs, but this was a really fun morning!

    Mounted bird blind bench tripod
    Lens: Canon 600mm f/4
Camera: Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT
    Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/500)
    Aperture: f/6.3
    Focal Length: 600 mm
    ISO Speed: 200

This is one good looking nuthatch. Very sharp with some nice eye contact. Tell me that you cropped this and can add some room back. I think it's just too tight.

Here's the Full Monty. It was last summer, but I think this is the JPG straight from the card.

Would love thoughts on the crop.

I wasn't diggin that nodule in the LRC.

But was psyched abut the feather detail.

    Thanks!

I actually like the original. with just a little cropping. You could always clone out the nodule.
