    I like the overall comp. and scene here, do wish for a better head angle. love the perch. Bird looks a little soft

    I agree with Dan re: head angle and the bird being a bit soft.

    It is an interesting perch, but I think the current cropping features the perch more than the bird.

    What you are trying to say with the image does influence how you crop it. This one speaks of desolation/isolation to me as cropped. So, I always ask myself before I crop, what is my message with the image. Portrait, environmental, mood, or some mix.

    Lovely pose, although a better headangle would have been great. I like the idea of a pano crop, together with the curved perch. I would try and get rid of the other three pieces.

    Excellent. I love the composition. Can't even imagine what's wrong with the head angle; presumably there's a statute in the Head Angle Code I'm not aware of. :o
