does this do anything for anyone? i saw it and kinda liked it. processed in silver efex pro. had to compress the heck out of it to get it down to below 200k.

Let me guess Doctor...this is Long Key, where the Owls reside...:D I like it, I like the framing of the palm leaf, and I like the monochrome touch, contrasting against the high-key background...

I like it Harold. Great DOF, and nice range of tones with the high key BG. You should try more on this image and post in OOTB, bet it would be fun:)

Harold, I like the palms w/ the silver efex conversion and I also like the left tree w/ the foliage, I think they are competing for attention-but the way the one palm is bending it has an artistic feel to it.So I'm undecided like you!!

Hi Harold I could grow into the image with a heavy treatment of flexify ... then use a half a dozen different filters (all full strength) .... then apply Gaussean blur, pixelate and feather 100% .... Ahhhh will come out nice :D:D:)

I'll make you feel better H.
I like it as presented, specially the tones you were able to get from efex pro

... Harold that is another idea ... paint bucket and filling with black 98.3 %, pixellating then filter of your choice full strength :) Lots of possibilities !!!!!!!!!! :D:D:)
