    Default American Goldfinch

    Landed by 20 feet in front of me didn'y have a lot of time but he was nice enough to give me a couple qquick shots.

    I like the simple image design and the BKGR. The image looks fairly sharp. There are however lots of problems:\

    1: the bird's head is turned away from you.
    2: the yellows look hot as a result of over-SAT.
    3: the perch is much too large for the bird.

    Were you working at a feeder set-up?

    Thank you for the comments as I have so much to learn and yes it was at a feed station. Planning on spending the day tomorrow at Point Pelee.

    Hey Rodney, If you are working at a set-up, you need to learn to pick attractive perches suitable for various sized birds. There is a great section on creating feeder set-ups in my CD book, ABP II: https://store.birdsasart.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=19
