    Default Arrogant Toad

This toad was walking to some water in the dunes, and stopped for a while. While i was taking a photograph from underneath him, he was looking a bit arrogant to me!

    Hi,
I got the following EXIF details from your image. Exif details help in commenting so please share it. EXIF: F5, 1/160, ISO 200. Camera FinePix F650.

The eye is interesting. The low angle definitely lifts this image. It is good that less of sky is included in the image. There are a few blown highlights especially on the face and on the grass near the eye. Its tough to get enough depth of field at such close distances. I have no idea whether it was possible to use a narrow aperture like f8 or higher in your camera. Overall a very nice effort. Keep experimenting.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Looks like a movie ad for a 1950's monster show. Great detail in the eye and the skin under the chin. I'd clone out the tip of the bright grass pointing to the eye if it were mine.

Arrogant expression for sure! Isn't it amazing the personalities revealed in so many creatures?
I agree with cloning the hot reed at left, as well as toning down brightness of hot spot on face at right.
The extreme low angle is the highlight of your effort here.
