Great Egret With Palm

I liked the dead palm BG. Not for everyone, but makes me thing of my trip to Lake Tarpon, FL.

Wild, but pretty tame, he was not too far away.

A rare opportunity to pull the 75-300 back a little.

Thoughts?

Nice pose, the BG is a little busy for me. :) A little more light would help also, me thinks.

I have to agree with Jody, the BG takes away from your main subject, especially because is behind the head.
