Very nice pose showing the golden slippers. Whites nicely exposed, although I see a yellowish cast on part of the bird and a bluish is another. There may be some hot whites under his head, on his back.
Good to his head clear of the wave.
    Thanks for sharing it!

Good sharp detail Dave, and love the extended leg waiting for that freezing water of the Cape. Well timed for the touchdown, and I like the expression on his face.

I like the pose and details and could see this as a vertical crop, too.

Excellent critique by Fabs to which I would add that a crop from the bottom would make it stronger.

Stunning Dave - all perfect in my book. Composition, lovely blue water, perfect exposure on the whites and a great pose! Well done!

With varying opinions on the whites I checked the histogram and found a smattering of hot pixels. I did a linear burn on the brightest whites to even out the EXP but the hot pixels are still there. Starting over with the RAW would be advised. Lastly was the suggest crop.

Thanks to all for looking and for comments.
Arthur your post does look a lot better.
I have tried to re process the image and have managed to sort out the hot pixels but I have have not not got the colour cast sorted. I will get it right sometime.
