Nice shot Mirenchu. I added a warming filter (85) at 25 percent. Selective colour added yellow at 100 to the cyans, and then played around with the colour balance a little. Don't know what happens to the magenta/purples in conversion, but I get the same thing too. The Tiff can look fine but when you convert to jpeg they seem to go all out of balance.

Good point Jackie Those tones a difficult to reproduce !!!

I like the overall tones but having trouble keeping focus on the flower Might try a different angle and wide open to minimize the stem or ..... soften the bg :) Reworked the image with focal point. Did it strong enough for a recognizable difference, easy to affect the amount. btw same effect can be done all in PS !!!

Very nice image, Mirenchu. The flower looks blue on my monitor. I don't really know the correct color, but I moved it toward purple with a selective color adjustment layer, making these changes in the blues panel:

    Hi Lady Mirenchu,
I like the base composition, would have liked to have seen the background a bit more diffused, to have all of the attention on your "Purple " flower...:D:p...I like Mr. Forns' repost...The purple hues turn out looking blue sometimes, due to the camera's sensor...it has a difficult time deciding which color gamut to reproduce....looking forward to your next one...

P.S. give me some time to work on your image and I'll give you your shades of purple back...I'm not on my computer right now...:)
