Spring brings us all kinds of beauty. When we look at it closely, this renewal of life shows amazing details and textures. This picture of a fern coming out of bed is an amazing display of what Spring brings to us.
The flowers just started blooming around here so I took my macro lens out of the bag and took a 30 minutes walk through the neighborhood.

A very interesting frame Rene. Like the folded leaves - they remind me of the aperture blades of a lens !
I feel going for a total close-up (a tight one with just few leaves filling the frame) might be another interesting option...
Neat image, Rene...would love to see this in a day or two when it was just beginning to unfurl. As is, I'd consider cloning the stuff at the bottom right of the frame.
