Default Yellow Warbler On The Alert

    Attached Images Attached Images

A rather soggy morning....just the way I like it when I'm creating yellow warbler images :)

This guy used this perch about every 20 minutes or so both the sing and feed on small flies.

A yellow winged warbler landed near by, and this yellow warbler had to stretch for a better look I guess.

    Nikon D300, 500 VR, TC14EII, ISO 800, F7.1, UniWB preset, -.3 EV compensation. SB8-00 with BB at -2 2/3 EV

(For some rerason, things once posted look way more saturated in IE8 than they do on my computer?)

I like the inquisitive pose, soft light, details, perch and BG. As for the saturation issue, IE is not color-managed, have you tried to recalibrate your monitor?

Lovely colours, sharpness and BG. I like your comp with the bird and rose shoots. Diffused light is perfect.

    Jim,

You have loads of detail in the feathers. I like the separation between the BG and yellow warbler. Even the leaves are sharp.

    Thanks for sharing....

Warbler next to the leaf helps to show the small size of this pretty little bird. I like the pose and colors

A sharp, wonderfully designed image. Love the soft light too. The astonished look on the Yellow Warbler was surely a result of his seeing a species new to science, the "yellow-winged warbler." Or perhaps it was a Golden-winged Warbler that startled him... :) :) :)

    Default Actually

I would be astonished to see a yellow winged as well......however, in reality it was a blue winged.

    Touché :)
