Took this today. Hope to work on some blurs tomorrow. A family of Canada Geese born last week. Six in total, all doing well.
This is full frame, I left in the neck of the goose on the right, wasn't too sure about the crop.

too cute, jackie!! i was thinking a crop off of the neck, but after studying it for a few minutes, i think it stays. actually wished there was just a slither more of it, which i'm sure you can fix!!! nice light. the exposure feels right and sets a mood.

Agree with Harold on the light and exposure. I find it wonder!

Personally, I prefer to see the eyes of each of the geese in the photo. As is, what's interesting to me is the two that we could see the eyes of. I also think this photo could do without the tail and the butts of the adult goose. This family definitely worth another shot from a better perspective, IMO.

Jackie, I love this image! I like how their heads are resting on each other. I think it is adorable and can't wait to see more! I would crop a bit off the right and clone the rest of the neck out .

    Hey Lady Jackie,
I like it as is...:D This is a sweet image. I like the framing with just enough of mom's neck showing, which tells the story...good show...

Lovely Jackie Tough composition Ideally you want to show a part of mom but as presented would take the neck out !!! Lots of detail and great texture !!!

HI Jackie - too cute, I ike the amount of neck you left adds to the story, I tend to agree with Desmond, would have liked to see the eye's on the others -- but whats the chances of 4 good HA'S on some chicks.

Exposure as mentioned looks good - I like it - wEll done :)

Hi Jackie, I like the softness of the light and the huddled chicks. My vote would be for neck removal either by cropping or cloning as Denise stated. I don't feel there is enough of it there to be representative...

I like as is. Nice details in Mom's feathers and chicks down. I like the suttle glow of the center chick I also like the background. Ideal for Mother's Day.
