Hi! I'm a first time poster and arrived here serendipitously - had been reading "The Art of Bird PhotographyII, chapter
on blurs and was fascinated so I tried it out on some wildflowers near home. Then I found this link from Birds as
Art website and found you all were doing blurs. I've thought the posts have been beautiful and so creative.

    Canon 30D
    100-400L
    f/32, 1/30sec., ISO 100, focal length 100mm

Didn't do many adjustments - levels, adjusted brightness.

    Comments and suggestions welcome!

Like your colour palette Cheryl. Maybe a little less quick panning. Might give it a titch of CCW so the lines are more vertical. Welcome to ETL you will learn a lot;)

HI Cheryl - a bg warm welcome to the BPN family - nice first post.

I am going to go against the grain here and say I like it just as it is - I find myself looking into and past the surface image and it all comes together for me - Very impressionistic - but works for me.

Looking forward to seeing more :)

Hi Cheryl Big Warm Welcome and so glad you decided to post !!!!

About the only thing I can suggest is to consider moving the camera diagonally rather than up and down !!! Would make for stronger lines With these try making lots since keeper rate is way down !!! ... there is no right or wrong just your interpretation which in this case I like very much !!!

I do have fun with Artie and blurs One favorite of his is from the car as your driving ... can make some colorful images !!!
