I like the monochromatic look and wing flap. A slightly lower angle (if possible) would have been great.

Image would be stronger with a little less foreground and a little more background, less centered works for me usually.

Beside other comments, I think the image could be lighter, perhaps 1/2 stop.

Larry, this is a beautiful bird you have there. I like the off center composition. Perhaps your depth of fiels is too narrow (the eye is out of focus). Iso 100 is quite low for birds photography. You probably would have been better at f/11 and iso 400.
