Nice colors, the branch running to the top might draw the eye out of the frame.
Nice technique, this is a difficult image to capture and you did well. This must have been a blast, I can only imagine all these little guys buzzing around. They are so fun to watch, thanks for sharing.

Hi Kristin Excellent image Like the pose and sweet bg About the only thing I would do is desaturate the flower just a tad !!! You guys sure had a great trip !!!
Good to see you posting images Kristin!!!!!!! I love the pose of this hummer, and you got great eye contact too. Pretty good job of post-processing. I might crop a little off the bottom of the frame.
kristen, this is fantastic! as mentioned, the branch going out of the top of the frame and a desat of the yellows and this is perfect! well done. looks like everyone had a great time in costa rica!!!
Hi Kristin,
I like the composition, image and capture...agree with the techs. and the good advise given...this is a sweet image...looking forward to your next creation...:)
Hi, Kristin. Sure looks good. While I understand the comments about desaturating the flowers (from the family Marantaceae, the prayer plant family, by the way), this is what they look like in nature.
