    Canon EOS 30D with EF 400mm f5.6L at ISO 200 f5.6 and 1/2500s. Image created at Sanibel islands Florida.
    As an after thought, I could have possibly used a slower shutter speed and reduced aperture.

    Good work capturing this action. I might crop some off the stop, at the breaking surf, because the dark area above it is somewhat distracting.

    This is dramatic with the good light, crashing waves and the great colors on the bird. Well done.

    Very cool iamge, great catch, pun intended. I assume you were handholding, I would have hit the sand, a lower viewpoint would have been super good. Maybe after a few safety shots moving about 10 steps to the right would have helped even more.

    Nice and sharp, great exposure.. I like the action going on behind him and he is relatively still.
