Your exposure looks good, with good details in the darker areas. The bird is angling away from us, usually best to catch them coming at you, and stop shooting once they pass by.
The wing looks a little sharper than the head. Might be worth while to check where your focus point was.
I think you could probably bring up the head with some selective sharpening.
Your left to right positioning of the bird in the frame is good, I might crop off 15% of the water from below, but that is just personal preference.
