First of the season. Invasive. Can fill a field fast. That said, I like the color palette of these flowers and they sure look pretty when filling a field.

Image made with a Canon 30D; Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS lens w/ Canon 500D close-up filter/lens; Canon 430 EX Flash w/ LumiQuest Softbox mounted on a Flexible Flash Bracket and all tripod-mounted.

Ed, I also like the color pallet here. The unusual entrance point of the stem adds a dynamic interest here, livening things up. Nice job on a weed! I mean, a thriving wildflower :)

A simple beautiful looking flower this one. Would love to see a wide angle frame of the field covered by this beauty (if you could make one such image Ed).

Beautiful! You really are taking to these wildflowers. I love how razor sharp the center of the flower is and the rest is so soft and delicate. Nicely done!

I like this one Ed. The outer edges of the petals look as if they've been done in watercolour. Perhaps it's my uncalibrated office monitor but I seem to see a bit of halo around some parts of the petals.

Ed, The flower looks like it is floating in the frame. Beautiful color palette!

Love how the petals look as if they were twirling! Perfect BG. Great composition.
