    A Bald Eagle Landing in a Small swamp area off the Tennessee River in late morning light.


    20D, 420mm, f8, ISO 400, Exp = -2/3
    PP Crop ~60%, Curves and Modest USM after resizing

    Excellent timing, the light could be a bit lower angled for my taste but you get em when you get em. The color looks a bit undersaturated on my monitor.

    I like the composition and pose. Another bird with messy tail feathers. :) Parts of the body look a bit soft. What was the shutter speed?

    The Tail feathers are a result of a nesting bird!!

    The shutter Speed was 1/1250, Tripod used, USM Settings were 200% and .2 Pixel size after Resizing

    Excellent pose and the look of determination on the eagle's face is great.

    Not an easy image to process because of the harsh light. You could select the wings with a mask, run curves, then select the head and darken that more to balance the contrast. Let me know if you want me to try.

    Magestic image. The deep blue sky makes the bird stand out. Well done.
