    “Nature’s Coil”

Note: This is a double exposure consisting of six frames. The ambient lighting was bounced and directed by means of reflector panels, the suspension media for the water droplet was a mixture of corn meal, glycerin and water; to achieve the thin viscosity holding it in place...

This is lovely lady was painted with a Nikon D200, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 IF-ED macro lens, with a stacked combination of a 36mm and 12mm extension tubes.

    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ manual / in camera matrix metering / 1/250sec. - f/40 / exposure comp @ +2.3EV / ISO @ 400 / white balance @ cloudy / AF - Mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution – ambient light / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +2 degrees / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / support platform - tripod assist, with macro focusing rail and remote electronic trigger release.

    Comments greatly appreciated...

Love this image Gus. All the circles echoing each other and the water droplet on the end. The colour palette is really nice too.
