I'm usually not a big fan of steep angles but this one works for me. I like the soft colors and the nesting material adds to it. The bird is just a bit too centered as presented.
Very nice capture with that huge frame. I think your flash never reached the bird, it looks like you had to use shadow/highlight, the whites looks pasty.
I'd crop some off the left, to get the bird out of the center.
I love the colors of the bill/eye. They really pop with the simple palette around them. I like the different angle too. I agree a quick shift off center, and then call it a day.
Very nice capture of this beautiful bird. I also like the sharpness in the bill. It's easy to see the opening for the branch. Way to handle the exposure.
