    This is the largest gator that we have seen at MINWR along the Bio Lab road, so far. Given his expresssion, I took what I could get! :eek: :D

    On another day we saw him move ... defending his territory. We do not wish to upset him in any way!!! :eek: ;)

    That is one healthy gator !!! Do like the low angle and pose Just need softer light and sure wish that white branch was not behind him !!!

    Thanks, I debated on removing the branch, but :eek: ... Then I figured I could do it later in PP! ;) But then I read the thread on "truth in advertizing" and figured maybe it would offend some purist. So ....

    Guess you can't please everyone though.

    Here's a try at a mutilated version! ;) Just don't offer it for scientific research journal use... But maybe this years Christmas card! :D

    I like the low angle and head on pose. I also like the way the OOF "S" of the tail leads up to the head. Much better with the branch removed. Impressive animal.

    Impressive gator Mark. The low angle really accentuates his size and potential threat capability. The light's a bit harsh but sometimes that just unavoidable. Hope you were on the opposite side of the waterway - don't want to get too close to these guys this time of year.
