Saw another life bird yesterday, gave me a good view...but far away. This is heavily cropped photo (85%) of a Brewsters Warbler...a hybrid of Golden-Winged and Blue-Winged Warblers. This hybrid may sing like either parent. At first I thought I was looking at a Gold-Winged because of the call, but noticed no black throat patch..looked in book and there it was "Brewster's".
Not yet have to finish my shift...I found this bird at Chaffey's Lock's southwest of Ottawa, not sure about Pelee this year, depends on the weather..I'll probably go to Thickson's Woods and Presquille Prov. Park and Amherst next week. Then hopefully Cape May the week after...hopefully ther will be some Red Knots.
