    Hi all,

Here is one taken recently from Bempton Cliffs, east coast UK.

Most of the puffins were at sea but some were coming to the cliffs in search of nesting sites.

    C&C welcome

    Cheers

    Austin

I like the pose, BG and details and would raise the color temperature a few degrees. I find the bird too centered in the frame.

Tough birds to photograph in flight; you did well with exposure and sharpness. I'd remove some canvas from the top of the frame and add a bit on the right.

    Hi Austin,
Impressive sharpness!! I binned most of my flight shots from Skomer last year...
For me the image is a little dark - although the whites look great - perhaps a contrast boost.
    Best,
    Nicki

The Puffin is nicely exposed on both blacks and whites, and if you could lighten the BG, he would pop a little more. Doug's suggestion on the comp would work well.

Sharp with a decent EXP. Wing position would be OK with the bird much larger in the frame.... Best to try for these on mega-windy days.....
