    Canon 40D, 100-400L at 100mm
    ISO 500, 1/320, f/5.6 Center Weighted Average.
    Just trying out the sRAW setting on 40D now that CS3 supports it.

    HI Bill !!!! I like the crop and extreme close up All very sharp and great head angle There seems to be a cast

    Great detials on this tightly cropped portrait. Too bad the bg is brighter than the bird, maybe a tiny bit of fill flash would help it some at maybe -2.

    Al's repost improved it a lot. I like the crop idea, better light would have helped.

    I agree on the BG. Selectively darkening the BG would take about .2 millisec and would help the image out a lot no flash needed :)
