    Default Wild Turkey

From a recent trip to Cades Cove during the last week of April. You had to be sitting at the gate of the auto loop early, so you could be in position as early as possible. Shortly after the sun cleared the mountains, the gobblers would stop displaying, and start heading for the woods.

What an amazing capture and creature. The BG on the right is a bit distracting, but the wildflowers more than make up for it. Love all the irridescense and colors you captured here.

Why ISO 400 at 1/60? Seems like a higher shutter speed would have given you a bit more sharpness. That IS on the 500mm f/4 rocks though. =) Also, cropped a bit too close at the bottom for me. No complaints about anything else. Well done!

I like the pose, angle, light, setting and details. The squarish area in the BG right of the head is a bit distracting.
