    I thought the photo was interesting because of the chick in the photo. If you drop down under the nesting bird's right eye down toward the nest, you will see the chick hidden by a veil of feathers. This was taken at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm this past weekend.

    Hi Jim !!!

    I like it Excellent exposure, selective focus and framing Difficult making nesting images with all the clutter and this looks good. Normally we go at it wide open to minimize dof but in this case more was good and did not affect bg in a bad way !!

    Another good point is having he entire image in the shade. Sure was fun Jim Looking forward to some of the others !!!

    James, This is a hard shot to get w/ the BG and the assortment of foliage-You did well w/ the focus and managed a nice image-Well done.
