Default The Dome of "Convento de San Diego"

Church and former "Convento de San Diego", now known as the "Santuario de Guadalupe"; was founded in the early 1700's. But San Diego's main attraction is the fantastic interior that was remodeled in 1915 by Señor J Orta, the Michoacán architect and designer. The Rococo-Moorish interior is by far the most unusual church interior in Michoacán and perhaps all México.

Thank you for your comments! I'm gald that you like "Convento de San Diego". The church is very small, it's hard for me to tell the hight of the ceiling...and a since a picture speaks more than words...
