This is the simplest of all burs Just set the proper shutter speed and fire away Best done with a group of birds but for single slowing the shutter way down works well.
The amount of blur will have to do with distance, angle and speed Best to experiment with various settings. It is a good idea using a neutral density filter to avoid stopping a lot, actually in bright sun even down to f 32 will still give a fairly high shutter speed. The filter to get is a .9 which works out to 3 full stops. Any stronger will be difficult to use since the viewfinder will be very dark.

Well composed and executed Mr. Forns. I like this very much, the complimentary colors of the pelican's creamy wings ant the blue green water hues look fantastic...and the blurred wings look like gentle brush strokes...good use of the shutter speed...:cool:
