This Hoopoe is taking a snack. The picture is made in Egypt (El Quseir)
The bird is very skittish and it is not easy to get it close enough. So I was quite happy about that picture.

Great timing Rosl. You did well to get a nice low position as these are difficult to approach. I would be tempted to try a version with a little cropped off top and bottom.

Great timing and moment captured. Angle and details are very nice, too. The light looks a bit harsh, maybe some S/H to get more details in the shadows. I would crop a bit off the bottom and bit more off the left.

Very good, I love the timing of the peak of action.

The only thing I would do to enhance the image would be to select the hightlights to tone them down a little.

Superb action,low angle and DOF
....I am crawling in grass for these guys about few years and still don`t have good image.....they are very hard to approach.
