    40D, 400DO + 1.4xTC, f7.1, 1/320, ISO 400, + 1/3 EC, tripod mount, slight crop all around.

    I think the sharpness in the face is dead right Steve, and the exposure on the blacks is even more perfect. Love the outspread wings showing the reds, and what a killer BG. Congrats, I like this a lot.

    Terrific exposure on the blacks and the reds are no oversaturated, just perfect. Very sharp with an excelente light and BG. The bird is very centered but I think that you did it right with the composition (it is the best option here to put the bird on the center). :-)

    Steve, the comp works good with the birds wings spread out. T+You've got a really nice BG and as mentio0ned the blacks look good! Nicely done!

    Composition is fine, just far enough to the right to offset the direction of the head and the outstretched wing. Beautiful pose, details and bg, nicely done.

    I love the unique pose you captured. Blks are great. I also think the
    crop you used works.

    I would give a tad more contrast, but just as bit, other than that, love it, grrat pose, BG, perch, exppsure and colors! Congratulations!
