    Default Griffon Vulture

Another shot from Spain. At the top of Castillo de Monfragüe in the Parque National de Monfragüe the Griffons come really close with views in eye-level and sometimes just a few meters away.

    D700, AF-S 600/4, 1.4x TC.

    Thanks for watching.

I like the pose and eye contact. There is a S/H halo around the bird. To get more details in the underwings, you could have dialed in positive EC instead of -0.67. I might crop a bit off the bottom.

Love the pose and sharpness. Axel makes a good point about the tech specs. This is a perfect example of when to use + EC, perhaps +1 in this instance.

Axel has great advise on the technical aspects. I'd also crop from the right of the frame, since the bird is looking to our left.

Will be looking forward to more from your trip!

Great gliding posture, with a super head turn. Nits covered, but keep them coming.
