    Default Tailing Mother

This is my first photo posted under wildlife.
This photo was taken in the Kruger National Park at last light with subject in sweet ligh and the Bg in shadow.
I wanted to capture the insecurity of the foal seeking comfort from the mother.

Some real sweet light on the cute foal. You show just enough of the mother to show whats going on here. Image just seems a bit crowded compositionally. A bit more space all aroung would help...

    Dave,
    Welcome to the Wildlife section.

I like the light and the composition with the mothers hind legs. I would have liked more space at the top and bottom as it looks tight. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.

    Cheers,

I agree with Robert, it is somewhat crowded comp wise. It looks like the foal is going to crash into the behind of mom. But you captured the insecurity well. Exposure and sharpness is there. Do you have more room all around to give?

Lovely light and tender moment. Agree on the tightness, but the idea of the baby and part of the Mom works well.

Welcome to the WL gallery, hope to see more from you!

Thanks to all for looking and for comments. To get more space I would need to add canvas as this is about full frame, in fact I have already added canvas below the zebra.

Sweet light Dave, and good exposure on the little guy. You will have to invest in a shorter lens for more space mate. LOL.

Great light and color. Would like to see a little more room around the subject.
