    From Wakodahatchee, Florida, afternoon shot. I got some pics with better wing position, but I like this one because in this one the wings only cast an small shadow on the body and the black belly is visible.

    1/4000, F6.3, EC -.33, 500mm, Hand Held

    Raul,

    You stopped the bird in flight and the focus seems good.


    Lots of detail hidden in the shadows. Haloing or other artifacts from jpg compression and/or sharpening are at birds edge very apparent and distracting.

    Very good capture Raúl. I love the fantastic light and the details on the bird. Terrific eye. The shadows under the wings are not the best but I have to agree with you that they are not very distracting because the body is under good light condition, The bird is a bit centered in the frame from my point of view, by the way.
