    Default contrasting colors

I liked the contrasting colors this BlueJay presented in the Red Bud Tree, hope you like it too.

I can't see an image either. Why don't you PM me a link to the photo. When I try editing your post, I don't see a link to an image or an image attachment.

That's a sweet shot, Randall. I really like the colors as well as the separation from the background, and the head angle is really appealing. People may nit pick the slightly blurry tail or the blurred (presumably moving) blossoms in the center foreground, but it works for me. It's very well composed, imho. Congratulations.

    Randall,

Very nice capture IMO. Great colors the work well together.

A bit more space behind his tail would be good I think and the dark thing in the BG upper left is distracting to me.

I shot this from my back porch which is several feet off the ground, the black spot is another tree, I had but moments to compose and shoot and probably didn't allow enough space in the bottom left corner but I wanted to make sure I captured as many of the red bud blossoms as possible on this particular branch which was very heavy with blossoms. Thanks for viewing and c&c

Hi Randall, I like the idea here. I think a little more room for the tail would help and having the blooms sharp all the way through would be good too.
If you have image specs like ISO, F/stop etc... please post them.

    Welcome aboard!:)

    HI Mike
Can't make more room for the tail unless I manufacture it lol. The blossoms were blured by a small breeze whipping around my porch don't know why it blurred just those few can't do anything about that either, but I do have all the exif info 100mm@1/90s@f/9.5and +0 .5EV Iso 4oo auto exposure, tripod by Manfrotto Ball head by Markins I usually shoot with my D2X but grabbed my wifes D100 because it was handy.
    Thanks Mike for c&c randall
