I like the angle, details, look-back pose and smooth water. I might lighten the eye a bit.

Stunning light Don, and love the low angle, and BG colours. Overall, pin sharp too.

Great low angle, and I like the one-legged pose and the slightly open bill. Agree with Axel about lightening the iris.

Very nice. Colors, details, pose, and overall composition are all good. I agree that lightening the eye might make help. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Don,
Agree about lightening the iris - stunning in every other respect.

Guys, the eyes in the BBP are black. Lightening would be changing the species :)

Love the changing plumage, going into breeding and the balancing pose, getting ready for a nap. Well done!

Great pose bg and comp. I would just maybe lighten the eye. What do you think?

Really like this image a lot just as it is. Love the bird's pose, the rough colors against the smooth waters, the slightly opened beak. It really works.
