Nice pose and sharpness! Like the BG and the way the light illuminates the eye. Perhaps a little more room on the left, and I'd tone down the whites on the head a little.

Hi Mirenchu I like the pose, crop and bg ... and all very sharp !!

I'm not sure the spotlight effect works well for this one? Basically its just around the eye area Not sure how the base image looked? I think what bothers me is the light area contrasted with dark for the bottom My eyes keep jumping from one to the other. The blues are over saturated which actually helps with the mood.

I like the experimentation and might try some PS filters for effect !!! Great base image !!! Interested to see what everyone else thinks !!!

    Hi Lady Mirenchu,
I like the composition and capture, you have fine, sharp details in the feathers, a sharp clean eye, and the color rendition is a wee bit over saturated in the blue channel...the whites on the head and face are running a bit warm, which can be toned down...I like the diffused green out of focus background...my recommendation there would be to blur and tone down the white blotches on the left side of the bird because it takes away the attention from your beautiful subject...I like the placement of the Heron in frame...well done...looking forward to your next one...

Hi Mirenchu, I like the idea of the spotlight effect, but would like to see the bird's whole head and beak illuminated. Nice pose and BG. Like the colors as well. Looking forward to your next one.
