    Default Snow Goose

    I went through some files from Middle Creek in March and liked the pose of this landing Snow Goose.

    Excellent composition. I like the incoming pose. The goose stands out in this background.

    Super comp, and well timed with the landing pose. The whites are well controlled, and what a great OOF BG. Well captured Axel.

    The light bird against the darker BG works very well. Ditto comments on exposure, pose and comp.

    The Goose stands out nicely against that brown BG! The whites are nice as is the pose, no nits.

    The bird really pops against that BG. The bleeding edge whites that are not blown look good.

    Axel;

    All the technicals have been covered on this excellent image. From an visual standpoint, one of the first things that struck me was the position of the legs and feet. I think it works so well for me because the lines of the leg mimic the angles of the wings. Small point, but I do think it adds to the images appeal.

    Thanks for sharing. Isn't it fun when you go back over files and find a gem or two!

    Randy
