    Default THEME: Starry night

It wasn't starry, it wasn't night. But why should that stop us?

David, I love how you illuminated the windows and the garage! Excellent. The sky looks so real!! The shadows on the driveway are the only clue, but I guess a lamppost or streetlight could have made them. Well done.

I remember a post awhile back that had some great information supplied by David on how to achieve this look-I have attached the link-BTW Kathy Reeve's image in this post is fantastic!

Thanks, Denise. Yep, shadows are usually what will undo a day-to-night rendition. If I were playing seriously for keeps, I would re-engineer all of those.

Well you know at first I thought why the shadows? But the more I think about it streetlights are on every block and do create shadows-especially since the entire scene is not pitch black it makes sense. So I may have mis-spoke!

Hi David, very nice day-to-night! I know you are a master at this and the starry sky really makes it extra nice. Your attention to detail and control of the light sources is outstanding. Well done! :D

Spooky feeling. Hope to get to your Night for Day tutorial soon. Amazing PP skills. Looks kind of cool because the other houses aren't lit up. I expect someone creepy to walk out of that door!
