Lovely BG and iridescence. Soft light really works well - I like the way it reveals the beak detail. Wondering if a small puff of fill flash would have been an option.

    A stunning grackle for sure!

Lovely presentation of this bird. BG, light and pose are excellent.
I might be tempted to tone down the perch but that would be it.

I like the pose, and excellent exposure on the Grackle. This is pin sharp Steve, and a great OOF BG. Well captured.

Really nice image of a Grackle! The BG is superb as well. The H.A.P. might be on this one a bit and it looks like you have a white "glow" around the bird.

Like the iridescence and the sharpness of the bird against the nice soft BG. The head angle could be a little better, and I see a halo around the bird.

    Thanks for the comments.

    Tony,
No option for flash as I don't own/use one. Would've helped a bit though.

    Doug,
I thought I was seeing a halo but I wasn't quite sure as I wasn't seeing it everytime I looked at this pic.
