    Made this image of a male Ring-necked Duck last year but never did anything with it. I quite like the spray coming out of the bird's bill as it shook its head. Seabirds do this to excrete saline from their salt glands. I'm not sure why freshwater ducks do it. Hope you like it.

    Standard edits. Cropped. Cleaned up water a little.

    John, Very interesting image and I love the way his neck is twisted and the motion blur!!The spray coming out is fantastic!
