I thought long and hard on how to crop this photo. I went with this since the bird is looking out and away to the right I left space for him to look into. Any other suggestions?

Gary, I like the pose and details,I like the crop. I'm not familiar with this bird but maybe lighten the eye or add a a catchlight . Well done.

Hi Gary - I like it as presented - the space for him to look into works well. Agree with Denise about the eye - think if you selectively sharpen the eye it will help.

    Well done :)

    Hi Gary,
Excellent composition, image and capture...I would just lighten the eye just a tad and selective sharpen it...would also run a low level pass of noise reduction in the background...congrats on a fine image...looking forward to your next one...

Can add I would take some from the left but not enough to eliminate all the branches, neat pose and nail the techs !!!
